Get Ready for #GivingTuesday

Avery’s Hope was created to help families on the rare disease journey with their out-of-pocket and insurance-denied expenses. This organization offers BrAvery Awards for families in need and works with five Patient Assistance Funds at major children’s hospitals across the country. Avery’s Hope started the first ever HOPE Fund for Families at Children’s Hospital of Philadephia’s Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. The organization also assists patients at St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, Boston Children’s Hospital and Texas Children’s Hospital. In addition, Avery’s Hope partnered with the National Organization for Rare Disorders and the Oley Foundation to offer lodging assistance for those families traveling to second opinions, clinical trial evaluations, care, testing and treatment.

We have also formed strategic partnerships and collaborations with a diverse group of rare disease stakeholders to help accelerate the immediate needs of families who find themselves in financial difficulties.

November 29th is a global day of generosity that encourages people to do good. Join the Movement and give…whether it is of your time, a donation or the power of your voice. Join us on #GivingTuesday to do good and help others. Thank you for #CaringForRare.
